Born and raised on Vancouver Island, I have always had a passion for animals. I grew up with various rescue animals before getting my first dog. Once Freddie came into my life, everything changed, and I started working in the pet care industry.

I have experience in various capacities having worked at dog daycares, hiking, and training companies.  I have a strong knowledge of dog behaviour, body language, and play etiquette.  I strive to continue to learn and grow as a dog professional, taking seminars and courses to broaden and strengthen my knowledge.

After getting my second dog, Mila, I was exposed to the world of dog reactivity and adopted a balanced method of training, tailored to each individual dogs’ needs.*

More recently, I began working with high-drive dogs and getting involved in dog sports. This year I will be getting my first sport dog, a Brittany, who will accompany me in all my future ventures of training and trialing in dog sports.
