Mila and Freddie
Easy and Georgia
Meet Georgia:
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, I have always had a passion for animals. I grew up with various rescue animals before getting my first dog. Once Freddie came into my life, everything changed, and I started working in the pet care industry.
After our family got a second dog, Mila, I was exposed to the world of dog reactivity and adopted a balanced method of training, tailored to each individual dogs’ needs.
I have experience in various capacities having worked at dog daycares, hiking, and training companies. I have a strong knowledge of dog behaviour, body language, and play etiquette. I strive to continue to learn and grow as a dog professional, taking seminars and courses to broaden and strengthen my knowledge.
I have completed an intensive mentorship program with Sara Scott, the owner and head trainer at K9 Goodlife, a well-established local pet and sport dog training business. Their focus in fostering meaningful relationships between dogs and their owners, and extensive knowledge in motivational techniques has given me a very well-rounded approach to training.
In the last few years, I began working with more high-drive dogs and getting involved in dog sports. In 2023, I got my first sport dog, Easy, a little Brittany who joins in on hiking and is working on becoming a training demo dog to help our clients! In my free time we train for various sports including obedience, field trials, conformation, dock diving, and more!
